Ghana laws are relatively in favor to easy access to maternal health care, including access to contraceptives and safe abortion. In this perspective, IPAS, an American NGO specialized in advocacy and the promotion of women’s rights in Africa, held on January 18 to 22, 2016 in Accra, a training seminar for health care technicians and family planning advisers from different countries in West Africa.
This seminar and exchange program held in Ghana, was made possible through the support of several NGOs; “Médecins du Monde”, “Equilibre et Population”, “The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation” with the support of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Delegation for relations with civil society and partnerships”.
