  • CREF National Seminar on New French Textbook

    From the 12th to the 17th September 2016, the 10 Heads of CREF (Regional Centres for the teaching of French) with 10 resource-teachers met in Accra for a national seminar.This seminar which was organized by the national coordination of CREF, aimed at introducing the new textbook for the teaching and Learning of French for SHS level based on the national syllabus.

  • GAFT National Congress 2016

    The Ghana Association of French Teachers (GAFT) held its national yearly congress from 29th August to 3rd September in Lomé, Togo. Over 280 teachers from all over Ghana attended the Congress. During the week, they participated in seminars, training workshops, tied new relations and shared ideas on their projects.They also enjoyed the francophone immersion to practice French in situ.Indeed, for the first time in its history, the national congress was held at CIREL-Village du Bénin (International Center for research and studies of language), located in the heart of Lomé University.

    A training for accreditation in DELF – DALF took place at Alliance Française Accra, from 22nd to 26th of February 2016; the program was meant to train French teachers in Ghana to become not only examiners of the DELF and DALF exams, but also deepen their knowledge in new teaching method, called the “action-oriented approach”.
